2024-2025 Wellington Enduro Series (WES)

The annual Wellington Enduro Series (WES) is a region-wide race series run by the local trail groups and the WMTBC. The proceeds from each event go back to the trail groups to support trail building, trail maintenance, tree planting and predator control.

The series can include the following races/venues:

• Makara Peak Enduro

• Bambaduro (Belmont)

• Wainui Enduro

• Waimapihi Enduro

• Matairangi Enduro

• Kevin Blair Memorial Enduro (Tunnel Gully)

• Miramar Mini-Enduro

• Rangituhi Enduro

• Revolve Super V (women only)

Benefits of being a WMTBC and Trails Wellington Club member include reduced entry fees to each race, and discounts at local bike shops, breweries and businesses. It also supports the local MTB community and helps create the amazing trails we enjoy in and around Wellington.

The series has something for everyone, from the first-timer to the dyed-in-the-wool racer. Easy and hard course options are available at each event, but casual banter and good vibes are the norm, focusing on the enjoyment of riding bikes.

All ages, genders and skill levels, including an E-bike category, are catered for. After each race, there are podium presentations for the top three finishers in all categories (easy and hard) and generous spot prizes.

The hard course at each event is scored and racers accumulate WES points. The overall winners of each category are presented with a trophy at the end-of-season series prize giving.
