Barking Emu open after rebuild

After several weeks closed for a rebuild, Barking Emu (which heads from the south-western end of carparts extension and heads up to Hawkins Hill) has reopened. The work was funded by the Wellington City Council, and makes the trail a lot wider and smoother.

Please take care on the trail - Barking Emu is a two-way trail, and it’ll be a lot faster coming down now, so keep your speed under control if descending, and keep an ear out for other users when you’re riding up.
