New bridge on Red Rocks

The Wellington City Council has finished the construction of the first of two bridges at the beach stream end of the singletrack at the bottom of Red Rocks/Pariwhero. The plan is to build a new section of trail and bridge at the upper stream crossing, giving a dry feet way out of (and into) the singletrack.

The old exit via the stream to the bridge is still open, so you can still fill your boots (with water) as we have for the past 30 years.
