Erice’s triumphant return BBQ

On Sunday October 20th we hosted an event to celebrate Erice Van Leuven's success in the UCI Downhill World Cup. Erice won the overall junior female world cup title and retained the world championship rainbow stripes for the second year in a row.

Erice and her family came out to celebrate her achievement and was joined by the local community, a few speeches were given by her and her family and Erice sat down and answered questions about her year, the experience of racing and her goals for next year in the elite category.

Everyone was stoked on Erice's achievement and enjoyed themselves, Erice provided a few boxes of goodies to be raffled off and the money donated to the club and some of her spare kit given away.
